Sauce:
- 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
Others:
- 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cook Beef: Cook ground beef and onion in a skillet until browned. Drain excess grease.
- Season and Mix: Add garlic powder, salt, pepper, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, and 1 cup of cheddar cheese. Mix well.
- Layer and Bake: Spread beef mixture in the baking dish, top with tater tots, sprinkle remaining cheese, and bake for 35–40 minutes.
- Rest and Serve: Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley if desired.
