  • 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts or thighs
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix (about 1 ounce)
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix (about 1 ounce)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick)
  • 6–8 pepperoncini peppers
  • 2 tablespoons pepperoncini juice

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken in the slow cooker: Put the chicken in the bottom of a 6-quart slow cooker.
  2. Season the chicken: Sprinkle the ranch seasoning and au jus gravy mix evenly over the chicken.
  3. Add the remaining ingredients: Place the stick of butter on top of the seasoned chicken, then add the pepperoncini peppers and drizzle in the pepperoncini juice.
  4. Cook the chicken: Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or on high for 3–4 hours until the chicken is tender and shreds easily.
