Salmon:
- 4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
Teriyaki Sauce:
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
Garnish:
- sliced green onions and sesame seeds
Instructions
- Prepare Marinade: Whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Reserve half the marinade.
- Marinate Salmon: Coat salmon with remaining marinade and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Bake Salmon: Bake marinated salmon at 400°F for 12-15 minutes.
- Make Sauce: Heat reserved marinade, thicken with cornstarch slurry.
- Glaze and Serve: Brush cooked salmon with sauce, garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
