Dough:
- 1 can refrigerated pizza dough or crescent dough sheet
Toppings:
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup mini pepperoni or chopped pepperoni
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Nonstick spray or butter (for greasing waffle iron)
- Optional dipping sauce (extra pizza sauce or ranch)
Instructions
- Preheat and Grease: Preheat the waffle iron and lightly grease it with nonstick spray or melted butter.
- Prepare Dough: Roll out the pizza dough and cut into rectangles slightly smaller than your waffle iron plates. You’ll need 2 rectangles per waffle.
- Add Toppings: On half of the dough pieces, spread pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Top with a second piece of dough and press to seal.
- Cook: Place the stuffed dough in the waffle iron, cook for 3–5 minutes until golden brown and crisp. Cook in batches.
- Serve: Remove, let cool slightly, and serve warm with extra pizza sauce or ranch for dipping.
