Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 12-cup muffin tin with cupcake liners.
- Prepare the cupcakes: Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Beat butter and sugar until fluffy, add eggs and vanilla. Gradually add dry ingredients and milk, then divide batter into liners and bake.
- Make the coffee soak: Mix brewed coffee and coffee liqueur, then poke holes in cooled cupcakes and spoon the mixture over them.
- Prepare the frosting: Beat mascarpone, cream, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Frost the cupcakes and garnish with cocoa powder and chocolate shavings.
