Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang.
- Cream the butter and sugars: In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
- Mix the dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture to form a soft dough.
- Press the dough: Press two-thirds of the dough into the pan evenly.
- Prepare the berries: Toss the berries with cornstarch, lemon juice, and sugar. Spread the berry mixture over the crust.
- Add the topping: Crumble the remaining dough over the berries.
- Bake: Bake for 35–40 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Cool and slice: Cool completely before slicing into bars.
