  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Chocolate Chips:

  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix dry ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Cream butter and sugars: In a large bowl, cream butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add wet ingredients: Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Combine dry and wet: Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture and stir until combined.
  6. Add chocolate chips: Fold in semi-sweet, milk, and white chocolate chips.
  7. Bake: Scoop dough onto baking sheet and bake for 9–11 minutes.
  8. Cool: Let cookies cool on the sheet before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
