Turkey Burgers:
- 1 pound ground turkey (93% lean)
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 hamburger buns
- lettuce, tomato slices, red onion slices, pickles (optional)
For the Best Sauce:
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon pickle juice
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Turkey Burgers: In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Shape into 4 patties. Cook in a skillet or grill pan over medium heat for 4–5 minutes per side.
- Best Sauce: Mix all sauce ingredients until smooth.
- Toast burger buns if desired. Assemble burgers with sauce, turkey patty, lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles. Serve.
Notes
- You can prep the sauce ahead and refrigerate for up to a week.
- For added flavor, mix shredded cheese into patties or top burgers with cheese before serving.
