For the Meatballs:

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

For Serving (optional):

  • 2 cups marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease it lightly.
  2. Mix the Meatball Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, onion, garlic, egg, parsley, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  3. Form Meatballs: Shape the mixture into 1 1/2-inch meatballs and place them on the baking sheet. Brush the tops with olive oil.
  4. Bake: Bake for 15-20 minutes until the meatballs are cooked through and browned.
  5. Serve: Optionally, simmer the meatballs in marinara sauce for 5 minutes before serving.
