Description

These Turkey, Spinach & Cheese Meatballs are a delicious and nutritious twist on classic meatballs, packed with flavor from the spinach and cheese. They are easy to make and versatile, perfect for a main course, appetizer, or even a snack.

Meatballs:

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 cup fresh spinach (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for baking or pan-frying)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper or olive oil.
  2. Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine turkey, spinach, cheeses, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  3. Form Meatballs: Shape mixture into 1 1/2-inch meatballs and place on the baking sheet. Lightly brush with olive oil.
  4. Bake: Bake for 18-20 minutes until golden and cooked through. Alternatively, pan-fry for 10-12 minutes.
