For the Marinade:
- 1 1/2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts, cut into 1 1/2-inch pieces
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons plain yogurt
- 2 teaspoons ground turmeric
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
- Mix the Marinade: In a large bowl, whisk together olive oil, yogurt, turmeric, cumin, paprika, coriander, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Marinate the Chicken: Add chicken pieces to the marinade, toss to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably 4–6 hours.
- Preheat the Grill: Preheat grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Skewer the Chicken: Thread marinated chicken onto skewers with space between pieces.
- Grill the Kebabs: Grill for 10–12 minutes, turning occasionally until cooked through and slightly charred.
- Serve: Serve hot with rice, flatbread, or a side salad.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of chili flakes to the marinade.
- You can also cook these kebabs under a broiler or in a cast-iron skillet if a grill isn’t available.
