Ingredients
Scale
Fruits
- 2 cups fresh pineapple chunks
- 2 ripe bananas (fresh or frozen)
- 2 carrots (peeled and cut into chunks)
Liquids & Flavorings
- 1/2 cup coconut milk
- 1 cup coconut water
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Spices & Extras
- 1 small slice fresh ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
Instructions
- Prepare Ingredients: Gather all the fresh pineapple chunks, slice a small piece of fresh ginger, peel and cut carrots into chunks, and have ripe bananas ready. Measure out coconut milk, coconut water, turmeric, and vanilla extract.
- Add Ingredients to Blender: Place the ingredients into a high-powered blender in the following order: pineapple chunks, ginger slice, bananas, carrot chunks, coconut milk, coconut water, ground turmeric, and vanilla extract. Adding liquids last helps with blending.
- Start Blending: Secure the blender lid tightly to avoid spills. Start the blender on low speed to combine the ingredients gently and avoid overworking the motor initially.
- Blend Until Smooth: Gradually increase the blender speed to high and blend for 30 seconds up to 1 minute, or until the smoothie is completely smooth and evenly mixed with no chunks remaining.
- Serve Immediately: Pour the finished smoothie into glasses and enjoy right away to benefit from maximum freshness and optimal flavor.
Notes
- Fresh or frozen bananas can be used depending on preference or availability.
- Adjust the amount of turmeric to taste if you prefer a milder or stronger spice flavor.
- For a creamier texture, use full-fat coconut milk; light coconut milk will produce a thinner smoothie.
- If you want extra sweetness, add a teaspoon of honey or maple syrup.
- This smoothie is best consumed immediately but can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours—shake or stir before drinking.
