Ingredients
Scale
Base
- 2 naan breads
- Olive oil (for brushing)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Toppings
- 1 cup cooked chicken breast, shredded or diced
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup fresh spinach leaves
- ½ cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- ¼ cup red onion, thinly sliced
- ¼ cup crumbled feta cheese
Sauce & Garnish
- ½ cup tzatziki sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- Fresh parsley or dill (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and place a baking sheet inside to heat up. This ensures the naan gets crispy quickly when baked.
- Prepare the Naan: Brush each naan bread lightly with olive oil on both sides and place them on the preheated baking sheet carefully.
- Add Cheese Layer: Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over each naan, making sure to leave a small border around the edges to keep the crust crisp.
- First Bake: Bake the naan with cheese for 5 to 7 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbling and the naan turns slightly golden.
- Top with Chicken and Veggies: Remove the naan from the oven and layer on the cooked shredded chicken, thinly sliced red onion, and halved cherry tomatoes evenly over the cheese.
- Second Bake: Return the naan pizzas to the oven and bake for an additional 5 to 7 minutes until the toppings are warmed through and slightly roasted.
- Add Tzatziki and Garnishes: Remove the pizzas from the oven and generously drizzle the tzatziki sauce on top. Sprinkle crumbled feta cheese and fresh parsley or dill to enhance flavors.
- Serve: Slice the naan pizzas and serve immediately while warm and fresh for best taste and texture.
Notes
- You can make your own tzatziki sauce using Greek yogurt, cucumber, garlic, lemon juice, and fresh dill for a fresher taste.
- Use leftover cooked chicken or rotisserie chicken for convenience.
- Feel free to add other vegetables like sliced cucumbers or olives as extra toppings.
- For a crispier crust, bake the naan directly on an oven rack or pizza stone instead of a baking sheet.
