Description

This whimsical Unicorn Fudge recipe features creamy white chocolate fudge in vibrant pink, blue, and purple swirls, topped with colorful sprinkles or edible glitter for a magical treat. Perfect for birthdays and festive occasions, this easy-to-make fudge sets quickly in the fridge and dazzles with its playful marbled effect.

Ingredients

Scale

Fudge Base

  • 3 cups white chocolate chips
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Coloring & Topping

  • Pink gel food coloring
  • Blue gel food coloring
  • Purple gel food coloring
  • Colorful sprinkles or edible glitter (optional)
  • White chocolate drizzle for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pan: Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang on the sides to make removing the fudge easier once it’s set.
  2. Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the white chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk. Microwave on 30-second intervals, stirring well after each interval, until the mixture is smooth and fully melted, which should take about 1½ to 2 minutes total.
  3. Add Vanilla: Stir in the vanilla extract thoroughly to infuse flavor throughout the fudge mixture.
  4. Divide and Color: Evenly divide the melted fudge mixture into three small bowls. Add pink, blue, and purple gel food coloring to each bowl separately, stirring until the color is uniform and vibrant.
  5. Swirl the Colors: Spoon dollops of each colored fudge mixture randomly into the prepared pan. Use a butter knife or toothpick to gently swirl the colors together, creating a beautiful marbled unicorn effect.
  6. Add Toppings: While the fudge is still warm, sprinkle colorful sprinkles or edible glitter over the top. Optionally, drizzle white chocolate on top for an extra touch of decoration.
  7. Chill: Refrigerate the fudge for at least 2 hours or until it is completely firm and set.
  8. Serve: Use the parchment overhang to lift the fudge out of the pan. Cut into approximately 25 small squares and serve chilled.

Notes

  • Use gel food coloring rather than liquid to maintain vibrant colors and not alter fudge texture.
  • Store leftover fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
  • White chocolate drizzle is optional but adds a lovely finishing touch.
