- 1/2 cup vegetable oil or melted coconut oil

- 1/2 cup dairy-free chocolate chips or chopped dark chocolate (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease an 8×8-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
- Mix dry ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Add wet ingredients: Add the almond milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Stir until just combined and smooth—do not overmix.
- Include chocolate chips: Fold in the chocolate chips if using.
- Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean with a few moist crumbs.
- Cool and slice: Let the brownies cool completely in the pan before slicing into squares.
Notes
- For extra fudgy brownies, slightly underbake them and chill in the fridge before cutting.
