Fresh Basil Sauce:
- 2 cups fresh basil leaves packed
- ½ cup olive oil
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons pine nuts or walnuts
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prepare the Sauce: In a food processor or blender, combine basil leaves, Parmesan, nuts, and garlic. Pulse until roughly chopped.
- Blend: With the machine running, slowly drizzle in olive oil until smooth. Add lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Blend to combine.
- Adjust Seasoning: Taste and adjust as needed. Serve over desired dishes.
