  • 3 cups seedless watermelon cubes (chilled)

For the Margarita:

  • 2 oz silver tequila
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1 oz triple sec or orange liqueur
  • 1/2 oz agave syrup or simple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • Ice
  • Lime wedge and salt for rimming the glass (optional)
  • Watermelon wedge or mint for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Watermelon Juice: Place the watermelon cubes in a blender and blend until smooth. Strain through a fine mesh sieve if you prefer a smoother texture.
  2. Mix the Margarita: In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine 4 oz of the watermelon juice, tequila, lime juice, triple sec, and agave syrup. Shake well for about 15 seconds.
  3. Prepare the Glass: If desired, run a lime wedge around the rim of a glass and dip it in salt. Fill the glass with ice and pour the margarita mixture over it.
