Ingredients
Scale
For the Brownies:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 6 oz white chocolate (chopped or chips)
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips (optional mix-in)
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper or grease it lightly.
- Melt Butter and White Chocolate: In a heatproof bowl, melt the butter and white chocolate together using a microwave in 30-second intervals or over a double boiler, stirring until smooth. Let cool slightly.
- Mix Wet Ingredients: Whisk in the sugar, followed by the eggs and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
- Add Dry Ingredients: Add the flour and salt and stir just until combined. Fold in additional white chocolate chips or nuts if desired.
- Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Cool and Serve: Let cool completely before cutting into squares.
Notes
- Avoid overbaking to keep the brownies soft and chewy.
- Add raspberries or swirl in raspberry jam for a fruity twist.
