  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Mix-ins:

  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped macadamia nuts
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce, plus extra for drizzling
  • Flaky sea salt for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cream Butter and Sugars: In a large bowl, cream butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy.
  4. Add Wet Ingredients: Beat in eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract.
  5. Combine and Fold: Gradually stir in dry ingredients until just combined. Fold in white chocolate chips and macadamia nuts.
  6. Layer and Bake: Spread half of the dough in the pan, drizzle caramel sauce, add remaining dough on top. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
  7. Finish: Drizzle with extra caramel and salt. Cool, then cut into squares.
