Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour cake pans, line with parchment paper.
- Whisk together dry ingredients. Beat butter and sugar, add eggs, extracts, and milk mixture.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients. Divide batter, bake until done.
- Make the frosting. Cook milk, sugar, yolks, and butter until thickened; stir in vanilla, coconut, and pecans.
- Assemble the cake. Layer and spread frosting between layers and on top.
