Description

Dough:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/3 cup water (plus more as needed)

Instructions

  1. Combine Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt.
  2. Make Dough: Make a well in the center and add the egg and half of the water. Stir together until a rough dough forms.
  3. Knead Dough: Gradually add the remaining water until the dough holds together. Knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth.
  4. Rest Dough: Cover and let rest for 30 minutes. Roll out thinly, cut into squares, dust with cornstarch.
  5. Storage: Use immediately or refrigerate wrapped in parchment for up to 3 days.

  • For extra tender wrappers, replace half the water with milk.
