Description

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream butter and sugars: In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, Greek yogurt, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add egg and vanilla: Add the egg and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.
  4. Combine dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Mix wet and dry: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing just until combined.
  6. Add chocolate chips: Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Bake: Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden but centers are still soft.
  8. Cool: Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
